What is HOLLYHOOD?
HOLLYHOOD is a decentralized social media platform built for creators, powered by blockchain, and governed by its community. It’s where art meets autonomy — a space where creators own their profiles, control their data, and earn directly from their work without middlemen. With a robust Web3 infrastructure, HOLLYHOOD empowers creators, users, advertisers, and investors to participate in a more ethical, equitable, and rewarding ecosystem. Unlike traditional social media platforms, HOLLYHOOD is not driven by advertising revenue or corporate algorithms. It’s driven by people, purpose, and a belief in fair value exchange.
Our Story:
Driven by Culture, Purpose, and Innovation
HOLLYHOOD was born from a vision — one that began over two decades ago with the registration of HOLLYHOOD.com in 1998 and the first trademark in 2000. We’ve stayed true to our mission ever since: to build a creator-first ecosystem that puts control back in the hands of the people who drive culture. In 2022, we launched our MVP in the Apple App Store with integrated support from PayPal and as a proud member of the Microsoft Partner Network. While these tools helped us prove the concept, they came with limitations: high fees, closed systems, and control by legacy gatekeepers.

Today, the technology has caught up to our vision. Blockchain, decentralized storage, and token-based governance have made it possible to realize the original vision of HOLLYHOOD — a creator economy without compromise.

Our Why:
Defining the Future of
Social Media
We are building the social platform that should have existed all along — one that honors creative labor, protects privacy, rewards participation, and allows users to control their own data.
HOLLYHOOD is:

-
A decentralized network free from the fees and policies of legacy gatekeepers like Apple, Google, and PayPal
-
A platform where every profile is minted as an NFT — owned, portable, and sovereign
-
An economic engine where every click, view, and like can earn value
-
A new model for advertisers, where campaigns are built on transparency and mutual consent
-
Governed by the people through HOLLYHOOD.org and the DAO
This is more than a platform — it’s a movement.
The HHC Token:
Fueling the HOLLYHOOD Ecosystem

The HOLLYHOOD Coin (HHC) is the utility and governance token that powers the entire HOLLYHOOD economy. HHC is used for:

-
Tipping and rewarding creators directly
-
Unlocking exclusive content and participating in creator Hangouts
-
Gaining access to premium experiences and NFT-based membership
-
Participating in DAO governance and community decisions
-
Funding advertising campaigns in a fair, opt-in model

Unlike traditional platforms where creators are paid last (if at all) HHC enables a Creator-first economy with immediate, transparent, and equitable value distribution. Investors benefit from token appreciation tied to ecosystem adoption. Advertisers gain access to authentic audiences who opt in to be marketed to, directly compensating users for their attention. And users are no longer just content consumers — they’re stakeholders.
The HOLLYHOOD Moment

Why this is HOLLYHOOD's Moment
In an era of deplatforming, distrust in institutions, and rising concern over surveillance capitalism, HOLLYHOOD stands as a beacon for creative freedom and technological sovereignty. The collapse of centralized platforms and tightening restrictions by app stores have only made the need for HOLLYHOOD more urgent. We’re not building the next social media app — we’re rewriting the rules of what social media can be.
The HOLLYHOOD model is like nothing else: a legacy brand, a decentralized economy, and a community-first future. For creators, it’s a platform that pays. For investors, it’s an ecosystem with scalable upside. For users, it’s a place to belong.
